I'm with john. Bewailing this utterly predictable ruling is crying over long since spilled, thoroughly curdled, milk. The US has been an hereditary plutocracy, kleptocracy, pathocracy, kakistocracy and latterly Zionocracy, since its inception. There has never been 'democracy' in the US, or anywhere. Democracy is impossible in huge, far-flung countries, even without the added handicap of a market capitalist economy that ensures money talks and calls the shots. Market capitalism and democracy are utterly antithetical, and that's an end to it. The Chinese system, an honestly one-party state, unlike the US which is a dishonestly one-party (the party of money) state, where,if you wish to enter politics you join the political process through the party of power, seems to me vastly more honest and clearly more efficient and humane. In a few decades China will be the global hegemon, the US will be a deeply divided, neo-feudal backwater and the poor world will be imitating China's utilitarian approach, or the dying Yankee Reich will have played its last remaining trump card, violence, and we will be attempting to survive a post-Apocalyptic nightmare of destruction and ecological collapse.

A political-aware person will never be fooled by such political rhetoric as “the only democracy in the Middle East (Israel)” or “the largest democracy in the world (India)” or the best democracy in the world (US). Because these are simply political dramas played by a minority of the privileged class, every four years to fool the brainwashed public and the world community at large. In reality, there are only a few countries where democracy by dictionary definition (“by the people for the people”) is practiced but their elected leaders are not recognized as democratic leaders because they refuse to bow to the Zionist perceived democratic world.

Democracy, like the other slogans such as human rights, freedom, justce, gender equality, etc. – has been corrupted so much by the elites that they have all lost their original meanings. Interestingly, Muslims make the largest minority groups in the US, India and Israel – but they’re the most persecuted ones in those countries. American writer Stephen Lendman wrote: “Is it less true for America or in how Israel treats Muslims, many its own citizens yet denied virtually all rights afforded to Jews, and in Palestine none under military occupation.” Indian writer Arundhati Roy compared Hindu right wing (Hindutva) persecution of Muslims in India to Hitler’s persecution of Jews. She asks: “What kind of India they want? A limbless, headless, soulless torso bleeding under the butcher’s clever with a flag driven deep into her mutilated heart?”

It was a truly sick ruling. Now we can truly have a president brought directly to you by phillip morris or exxon mobil; and once in power they will destroy this place. Of course it must be said that obama's most expensive campaign ever (mostly private, corporate money) destroyed public financing of elections. It is for that reason and the sponsored nature of the entire house and senate that I somehow doubt they will participate in doing anything to substantially overturn this decision. We do need to restructure the judicial branch; it's extremely elite, closed nature is revolting.
