Next to nobody in Europe reads websites like these, so the point of these articles is to bamboozle you, American readers! You need to ask yourself why. What is Mr Walberg trying to divert you away from? One thought: as long as you are pipedreaming about a mythical resurrection of the Soviet Union, you won't have time to reform the US.
Fact check: Tatars are not Turks (Google them!). They are a n ethic group who speak a Turkic language. Russia is the last of the great European empires and the Tatars, like all the non-Russian peoples of the Russian Federation, will no doubt want their independence some day (as the Chechens already do!). Looking to Turkey makes sense in that regional context and I don't see anything more "sinister" in it.
And, of course, a helping of American Empire propaganda: the new cold war, with Polish ministers, Ukraine changing teams and the hated EU, (clearly the most dangerous of all threats to the American Empire!) which, of course, has to be under a US "diktat". But if the EU is America's pocket, why is it stalling Turkish membership? Turkey in the EU is an American idea, which neither Turkey or the EU really wants.
What Mr Walberg is trying to conceal is the growing closeness of European countries among themselves and with their near neighbourhood. And, of course, the ongoing collapse of the American Empire.
