I like your point. Who exactly IS Al-Qaeda?

I haven’t done it, but do a media search on “Al-Qaeda” prior to 11th September 2001, and after 2001, and see the difference………

Pre-2001 they were a bingo club who met fortnightly in caves to drink cheap beer and shoot their 3rd hand Kaleshnikovs into the air; post-2001 they are blamed on everything evil, from highly sophisicated bombing plots to my dog getting run over. Is Al-Qaeda another name for George Orwell’s “Oceania”? Or “Eurasia”? Actually, I forget now, is Al-Qaeda on our side or not? (Depends if you’re a 21st century American or a 20th century Russian)

If I hear the propaganda “….believed to be linked to Al-Qaeda” I think I’m gonna vomit. Sorry, Ill submit this post before I mess up the desk………………

However, the western dupes cannot find that most of these Al-Qaeda cells have been working for Israeli Mossad. For example, in 2000 Yemeni government accused Israel Al-Qaeda behind the bombing of USS Cole. In 2002, PA captured a Al-Qaeda cell working for Mossad. The Adam Yahiye Gadahan, who have been representing Al-Qaeda tape – is a Mossad agent. Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008 were also engineered by Mossad with the help of CIA and RAW. The latest one is the Nigerian underwear terrorist and the Green Revolution protests in Iran…..

I’m always tickled at the wholly unconscious way Americans slip into their master race delusion! I would guess that these two gents would be horrified to be called racists, but that is what they are! They presume that is the right of the US to rule the world. They see “non-Americanness” as a form of mental debility, with the concomitant duty on “superior” Americans to take care of the helpless poor souls wallowing in their own primitiveness. Like many things American, an essentially 19th century world view and that absurdly old-fashioned mentality runs through the entire article. Thus their reaction to world hunger is not to call for tighter regulation of the US corporations that they claim are causing it, but a US-proclaimed “war on starvation”. A “Manhattan Project for global hunger”! As for (California-based) MFI, it seems to be little more than an extension of Project Censored to the rest of the world. In other words, the master race is claiming the right to censor our media by making it conform to American ideas! Our only freedom of speech is thus the freedom to speak as Americans see fit! That is ludicrously outdated in this day and age! Need I say it? Yankee go home!

I was a teenager in the Vietnam era. I vividly remember the “on the ground” reporting of actual journalists, who filmed and reported death, misery, and unimaginable suffering with a commendable determination to make the news real, uncensored, and accurate. That horrid war was shortened because journalists simply did their job, not because they had any agenda to end the war.

Today, the corporate elite “reporters” are indistinguishable from popularity contest winners–overly coiffed, plastic nitwits, with makeup by morticians and no desire to travel beyond the climate controlled headquarters of media moguls who tell us not only what to think but also when, how, why, and where to think it.

I have not read a corporate-controlled American newspaper or seen a corporate-owned American news broadcast of any type in about 15 years. I saw the decline of journalism and the rise of propaganda and bolted from it. I get my news from the foreign press and from American “alternative” news sources.

Where are the actual journalists? If they banded together and offered a counterweight of credibility and truth against the lies and fluff of corporate media, perhaps Americans could be recovered from their zombie-like trance.

On the other hand, Americans have gone too willingly into that trance. The audience for the corporate media wants to be lied to, wants to be led around by the nose–it’s easier than the messy business of being thinking, questioning citizens instead of consumers. We have become residents of America, not its citizens. If an idea won’t fit on a bumper sticker, we’re not interested.

Thank you for this well-written and researched article, although it still angers and saddens me to think about how far the news professions have fallen and how easily, albeit ferociously, the real journalists were overwhelmed and replaced by the pod people of gossip mongering and political propagandizing.

yes, provide people with an elucidation; components of which might be:
Study the system, structure of US governance
Avoid like plague elemenatalism; such as government and judiciary and congress; think, say:government-judiciary-congress-repubs-dems; indicating one structure; each branch working for one goal: perm rule by a minority.

Do not complexify a simplicity [a description]. Media does that. Its main task is to render simplicities such as necessary-desirable truths, complex; usually, in rationalized way where one invents reasons and avoids causation; for everything that happens has cause; almost never one cause or for one reason.
Us wars are caused. By greed, lust for control, hatred, vanity, stupidity, etc.

one needs to realize that knowledge comes only from seeing, smelling, hearing, tasting, and feeling and descriptions of such experiences. Not from brilliant speeches! Or from political and priestly ‘talk’. tnx
