Wealth and power have taken over. They have always been a factor in the suffering of mankind, but today it seems to be at critical mass. Good will to all men is fast evaporating from our existence. When it completely disappears I feel sorry for those that are left. There was a man born in the meridian of time that looked at life differently, reverently. Some consider him a great man, some a prophet and some the Son of God. Whichever you believe him to be his teachings were a way for us all to be happy, forgiving and destined to serve each other. Instead we are chasing down terrorists in other countries that are corrupt themselves with greed and power. We are trying to destroy our fellow men in the name of justice and revenge. It is like we do not know any other way to live. The teachings that took place about 2000 years ago are as valid today as they were then. I am not and never have been a pacifist or someone who doesn't support our efforts as a nation. I just see us in a hole that has not existed on this earth for quite some time. Climbing out seems almost impossible. How do you fight an enemy that is everywhere without the complete unhampered support of the nations that contain them?
