I am surprised that this optimistic article was written by a fellow Vermonter. I have been to the Health Care rallies and town meetings from Montpelier to Bennington. As far as I can see there is not one organized group in Vermont that is even willing to use the words 'Single Payer". When I questioned this (as recently as a week ago) I was told that those words were 'too controversial'.

In addition, my recent article advocating Single Payer has been censored in Vermont. It is published on this web site titled YOUR MONEY, OR YOUR LIFE.

Maybe people just need some leadership. Folks in NY did something yesterday we can all do. Hold ins. companies and their congressional enablers accountable.

Video of Action - Must See!:

More Actions to come in other cities

It amazes me that in such a life and death matter whores in Congress can be so easily bought off, sell out the American people, and there's no outcry. They just take it. And die.

That says a lot about what America is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan.

It's what happens when people are willfully ignorant cowards.

If US plutos cld stand slavery, they can tolerate or even welcome death of unproductive citizens.
And healthcare for everyone, being supported by lenin, stalin, marx, can be obtained from pols only if we point the gun to their heads.

slavery had been abolished only because free people work harder and pay more taxes and not because uncle did not like it.
Similarly, unwritten but potent law that depraves people of their basic human rights, such as healthcare, free higher education, right to be informed, may actually decrease revenues to the uncle.

And one can conclude that unless there is massive passive demand-resistance for these rights, plutos wld just keep complexifying these simplicities in order to deny them to the `lower` classes.

In a classful society like US; with enorm gaps btwn them, the `low` class can obtain their inheritance only via resistance and represented by a political party.
And, not thru any org or movement because they can be weakened and made ineffective by infiltration of plutocratic servants.
Not so with a party. Or not to a degree that that party wld be seriously damaged. tnx
