Obama is blowing it with the U.S.-Mexico issue. Instead of trying to continue the sick misguided white supremacist apartheid foisted on Mexico back in 1848, why doesn't he seek to end it by calling on Congress to invite the Mexican people to dissolve their corrupt Mexican federal govt. and join the U.S. as 10+ new states sans racism, allowing Mexico to finally be developed as a sector of the U.S. to alleviate poverty, and making the U.S. bigger and stronger with a more defensible seabound border at the same time? Yankee gringos and Mexican can finally accept each others' existence and share the New World as one country under the U.S. Constitution. One of the few good things I can report about Vermont is how our Congressional delegation and ordinary people have united to protect workers from other countries. I admit that they are being protected because of their contribution to the dairy farm industry, and not necessarily because of their humanity. Maybe a little bit of justice is better than no justice at all.
