Yes, I do agree with this splendid article and with most of your comments.
However, as a German woman I don’t agree to “Aaron G.” when saying: “If America miraculously vanished tomorrow France, Germany etc would be lining up to replace them……………………..”
By this way of thinking we will support the destructive competition originally initiated by Europeans 500 years ago when such sort of globalization had begun, not only for discovering our planet but for the enrichment of the ancient “elites”.
Meanwhile, the surviving of all human beings on earth is endangered.
Please, let us join each other across country borders and borders within our minds. Let us globalize progressive ideas in exchange with each other.
No country can launch a change by its own capacity. First of all “Aufklärung” or elucidation is needed for clearing up prejudices in our minds.
Regarding to this I want to cite Eric Walberg: “A psychologist might point out that this obsessive distrust is because the patient subconsciously realizes he is untrustworthy and projects his own untrustworthiness onto others.”

And now, the Polish missiles have been abandoned! Both the Poles and the Czechs kicked their governments out over this and the Czech parliament wouldn’t even ratify the treaty. Europe defends Europe’s interests in the European way!

Good article, although you portray the US as a bully (as they are) and Europe as some stupid bumbling fool. Yes, they may be a US stooge, but mo$t countrie$ are the$e day$ and the rea$on i$ obviou$. Europe has the same imperial ambitions as the US, they are just not as good (or as bad) as America in implementing their ambitions these days – not like the good old days of the 20th century when they pillaged Africa.

If America miraculously vanished tomorrow France, Germany etc would be lining up to replace them……………………..

Good well-writen peice. Weapons of mass destruction are made to destroy the masses, international masses, foreign masses, homegrown masses, any and all masses. There is yet to be an invention that hasn’t been used, just a matter of time. The US owns space, and we get all worked up about that little shriveled guy in North Korea. Plainly, the US is the only ‘rogue’ state that is actually dangerous, just look at how DU and lethal ‘vaccines’ were sprewed forth and injected 20 at a time per soldier in Iraq. Have a look at all the pics of the deformed babies and see if you think that whoever was responsible for this wasn’t the most deranged, diabolical, merciless rogue nation on the planet. Maybe there’s something i’m missing, but i think the Europeans see the danger and are trying to keep the insatiable death-lust Monster on someone else’s back and not their own. A classic appeasement philosophy, and since no-one in Europe has any balls, or any serious defence strategies, the ploy seems to be working. They send half a dozen Poles, a German, and a couple of Stots to help the Monster’s war effort, and no-one can say Europe didn’t participate, after all they had ‘troops’ on the ground. It was a mad world, now it’s positively committed to the asylum for the criminally insane for good.

Ah ha! How dare Mr Harper announce that Canadian troops will leave Afghanistan in 2011! Never fear, Mr Walberg to the rescue! The good old cold war world is still alive and well and living in Europe! Western Europe is still in America’s pocket and Russia and China are still allied on the other side. The reality is that the US is reduced to dancing to the music of the very Europe that Mr Walberg claims to be a willing US lackey! A French general has just been appointed as the first non-American supreme commander in the history of NATO and, after considerable backsliding on GM’s part, GM Europe has just been sold to the German Government’s preferred buyer, financed by a Russian state-owned bank! The German transaction is particularly pointed, coming as it does on the heels of the air strike screw-up and within a few weeks of the German election. The US is having to “buy off” supposed “allies”! (Maybe Mr Harper wants a slice of the cake before the Europeans eat it all!) And, of course, it is in Europe’s interest to bog down the US in Afghanistan for as long as possible so that when the defeat comes, US power will be totally and irreversibly destroyed.

The gold in silence is obviously backing the Euro!
