Some arrangement will be made with the Taliban, perhaps over Karzai's dead body, in the Diem tradition. The Taliban will then revert to being 'freedom fighters' as they once were, this time being turned loose against the Shia enemy in Iran. In the fullness of time, if and when Iran is obliterated and a new Shah installed, the Taliban, having outlived their usefulness, will be anathematised again. The central point to bear ever in mind is that the Yankee elites, being psychopaths, are absolutely untrustworthy, and see all the protagonists as 'rag-heads' the killing of which is a religious obligation and great sport. Like George Will who sees no moral or practical objection to continuing murdering Afghans in their thousands, just the practical advantage of doing its the coward's way by remote control. In a way, this form of warfare, or mass murder, is preferable, because the enemy is reduced to the status of cockroaches inside a pitiless killing machine, which more closely coincides with US racist antipathy.
