I myself am presently participating as a researcher in a Centers for Disease Control study to determine which countries can most benefit from early swine flu intervention. There are teams of researchers here doing their level best to get a handle on this virus, in the lab and in populations. Everyone is working diligently so if there is someone out there who wants us all to die, he has not yet told the workers here. Who wants us to die?? One can reduce this drastically and still contract Swine Flu (H1N1). A mask in the pocket will not help. A mask on the face will help only if it is the type to screen out pathogens. A vaccine is essential. Young people will die without it - and children will die in great numbers because children take no precautions. The obese too, will die in greater numbers, as will asthmatics - because breathing with Swine Flu is extremely labored. Vitamin D will not protect anyone - at all. The vaccine's drawback is that mercury and other metals are used as preservatives. This will backfire on some small percentage of the population. But far more will likely die without the vaccine. The current SF vaccine has been hastily brewed with minimum testing, if you take it beware, you may end up being their guinea pig. Plain old handwashing and keeping your hand off your face, and that includes picking your nose, are still the staid and practical actions of greatest benefit. Carrying a mask in your pocket that screens out virus' is essential when people are hacking around you. Airborne droplets sprew at least 3 feet.
