What labor movement?  Labor has been a joke since 1980 when unions stood by and watched Ronald Reagan destroy the air traffic controllers union.   Labor  is silent as jobs continue to leave this country through fair trade agreements. 

Obama is so pro-corporate that he is a facist.

The only way for working people in this country to have their interest met is by getting in the street.  Labor should not be  allied to any one political party; rather make demands on all political parties.  Forget labor leaders.  Working people are going to have to do it for themselves.
