It&#039;s a story both terrible and uplifting - terrible for the personal tragedy it involved, but uplifting and inspiring for the depth and breadth of social organizing which was employed to save this person from imprisonment or death.  What an example to learn from today.

I also was unaware of the way Trotskyist organizers were eclipsed in history, and their role in the previous century.  Thank you also for bringing this to light.  I&#039;ll be looking them up.</description>
