A similar process, probably connected, is occuring within the US death forces, motivated by an equally detestable and brutish religious atavism. The War of Terror against the Islamic states has been a typical US war of brutal aggression based on lies and dehumanising propaganda, the deliberate targeting of civilians to intimidate the populace and hair-raising humbug and mendacity in proclaiming it all a quest for 'freedom', the most debased word in English usage. However the situation with regard to Israel is simply stupefying in its dangerousness. The first Talibanised nuclear state is likely to be not Pakistan but Israel, with a political/military leadership of people imbued with a perverted form of Judaic religious doctrine that sees the murder of enemy civilians, even children, as theologically sanctified. In the 1950's his views were far far away to the left (for two states, side by side) and his "light" symbolized the extreme left (unacceptable to the Zionist establishment then). Since 50 years Uri's views have little changed, but the views of the rest of Israelis are constantly moving in his direction. He is showing them the light.
