I enjoy them too, but I would warn you against idealizing Nietzsche’s thinking, the man did die alone, crazy from syphilis… that’s something to fear.

But almost always, during the initial stage of the struggle, the oppressed, instead of striving for liberation, tend themselves to become oppressors, or “sub-oppressors.” The very structure of their thought has been conditioned by the contradictions of the concrete, existential situation by which they were shaped. Their ideal is to be men; but for them, to be men is to be oppressors. This is their model of humanity. This phenomenon derives from the fact that the oppressed, at a certain moment of their existential experience, adopt an attitude of “adhesion” to the oppressor. Under these circumstances they cannot “consider” him sufficiently clearly to objectivize him — to discover him “outside” themselves.

At this level, their perception of themselves as opposites of the oppressor does not yet signify engagement in a struggle to overcome the contradiction;[2] the one pole aspires not to liberation, but to identification with its opposite pole.

In this situation the oppressed do not see the “new man as the person to be born from the resolution of this contradiction, as oppression gives way to liberation. For them, the new man or woman themselves become oppressors. Their vision of the new man or woman is individualistic [Nietzschean]; because of their identification with the oppressor they have no consciousness of themselves as persons or as members of an oppressed class. It is not to become free that they want agrarian reform, but in order to acquire land and thus become landowners — or; more precisely, bosses over other workers. It is a rare peasant who, once “promoted” to overseer, does not become more of a tyrant towards his former comrades than the owner himself. This is because the context of the peasant’s situation, that is, oppression, remains unchanged. In this example, the overseer, in order to make sure of his job, must be as tough as the owner — and more so. This is illustrated our previous assertion that during the initial stage of their struggle the oppressed find in the oppressor their model of “manhood.”

Even revolution, which transforms a concrete situation of oppression by establishing the process of liberation, must confront thus phenomenon. Many of the oppressed who directly or indirectly participate in revolution intend — conditioned by the myths of the old order — to make it their private revolution. The shadow of their former oppressor is still cast over them.

With fear you won’t even be able to get into baseball.

So take your fear and throw it away.

Superman creates own morality, perhaps he has stared into the abyss long enough to overcome fear. I’m still confused how you are managing to reconcile Nietzsche and Marx… One philosophy is “communal” and one is entirely individualistic. Nietzsche didn’t care one lick for the “working man”, or any man for that matter, and he would certainly say of Marxism that “it is no bridge to the Ubermensch”.

If you’re not afraid of anything, forget talking about such subjects, you should be organizing some sort of substantial “strike” against the “system”.

I doubt you would start talking about such things, making such plans on the internet because you’re just asking to end up rotting in a jail cell waiting for a trial, being absolutely no use to anyone.

Hello all: I am a member of the forum site RevLeft.com which is a forum board about socialism and left ideology. But most of their members are hardcore jewish and zionists. Every time i critisize Israel i am labeled as a Nazi there. So beware of that site. I think that site is funded by the jewish zionist fascist lobby AIPAC.

The population here is full of automatons. They’ll gladly lap up this increased invasion of privacy and beg for more, just as they will welcome the half-assed health care plan that is still on track, and will be happy they are forced to buy medical coverage they cannot afford from the ubiquitous private insurance ghouls, and forced by law into seeing their doctors for “preventative” tests and screenings, whether they want it or not (one of the many ways “liberals” exert control over the lives of others).

The reason: it already has. This is only finesse. Aren’t we the lucky ones … now: Just what the hell do we, you and I, do about it?

I know, we can post to sites like this!

And the net affect will be just what we want, really: not much.
