This is a very worthwhile article. Reminds me about young John D Rockefeller IV, who showed up one day in a village on one of the Indonesian islands, with his Birkenstocks, bermuda shorts & binoculars plus his Harvard degree in Cultural Anthropology, ready to "study" the locals & their customs. There is quite a bit that could be said about the "target community", headhunting, cannibalism etc, but jumping to the chase, it seems that these folks took one look at Master Rockefeller and decided "Hey, I don't know what it is, but it looks dangerous.
