Even one extinction, by definition, would mean we aren't even here.
But we are here, are we not?
I distinctly remember more than once yelling Hare Krishna, Hare Rama to William Burroughs as I walked by his little red house in Lawrence Kansas. He would shake his fist at me and laugh. It was a humorous form of communication.
He's extinct now.

The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the questions of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. Why does the universe go to all the bother of existing?

If we do discover a complete theory, it should be in time understandable in broad principle by everyone. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists, and just ordinary people be able to take part in the discussion of why we and the universe exist. Stephen Hawking

We are now in the sixth extinction and that's right five before us. Still time but not much for us human's to understand that a very good reason for us to exist is to make the World a better place. That's just the way it works or does it? And for right now probably, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler".

HR structural bear markets typically last 13-16 years oh really. Let's do the math. In the year 2025 we will be coming out of a bear market. On this present path in the year 2015 ice free in the North that changes weather a tad. Same year on this present path we pass a point that will be very very hard to slow climate change. Now color me crazy but that can't be good for consumer confidence. Are the scientists just going to stay silent? Strange day's ahead. If we get smart Wall Street will only be a shadow of it's self. That's if and will happen anyway. I still think many don't know what catastrophic means and they have only be told a million times.

The whole damned Wall Street casino should be shut down. People who trade in stocks and bonds are not investors at all. They are speculators at best, gamblers in reality, and crooks at worst. They trade in paper that has no real-world relation to the corporations whose names appear on the paper. The money changes hand between speculators. It does not go to support of the corporation. It is NOT investment. Calling speculation in stocks and bonds investment is akin to morons who babble about their "investment" in a automobile, a motor home, or their PURCHASE of any other item that decreases in value as soon as the purchase is concluded. Any profits made on non-investments, like stock market trades, should be taxed at the same rates as other taxable income ... just as other gambling winnings are, and be subject to the same limitation on the amount of losses that can be written off: not to exceed the amount of winnings. Further, if this scam of stock trading is allowed to continue, then there should be a tax of 25 percent of the transaction imposed at the time of sale. These rich bastards want war, then let them pay for it.

Worst of all, if government and Wall Street collude to pump and dump markets, individuals and small investment firms can get trampled, and that’s exactly what happened in late 2008 and early 2009, with much more to come as the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression plays out over many more months. And continue with this :
