If pope anounced to the world that he is going to gaza, israel, which controls who can enter or exit gaza, cld do two things: militarily prevent pope from entering gaza or even kill him or just watch heplesslyas pope kisses the gazan ground or just enters it. by not going to gaza, pope has supported, i affirm, israel's siege of gaza and the recent raid against it. was he scared for his life? If so, he shld have never ever entered the accursed unholy land. pope cld have ascertained prior to visiting israel that he cld freely move in any part of the world and in ME especially so. sees it wld been a grave mistake for israel to restrict whom pope visits. so israel and catholic church chose collusion at the expense of the victims. shame, on catholics and other christians, i say! tnx bozhidar balkas, vancouver some observations re pope going or not going to gaza.
