Tamils who have no interest in the conflict, including children, are being forced at gunpoint to fight for the LTTE - LTTE is secretly financed and armed by the West including mediator Norway which is playing the bagman role . The UK gives sanctuary to the top LTTE figures. Prabhakaran's children are being educated in the UK. This is like the US financing the Contras in Nicaragua to fight the Sandinistas. Th eLTTE has ships and airplanes and is able to mount aerial bombibg attacks on Sri Lanka. How is this possible without outside money and military support? Imagine Palestine or even the Afghans being able to fight back and do aerial bombing! Impossible of couse but no one questions how LTTE is able to do this. - When Sri Lanka finally had the LTTE surrounded and facing annihilation major figures in the West suddenly became filled with care for civilians and began threatening Sri Lanka that IMF and World Bank money would be withheld. What a list - Obama, Hillary Clinton, Gordon Brown, David Milliband, Sweden, Norway even The Pope. The Pope who was to scared to crticize Israel for it's massacre of civilians in Gaza when he visited Gaza a week ago, suddenly finds his voice and attacks Sri Lanka for civilian casualties!! While actually hundreds of thousands of Tamil civilians were being herded by the LTTE to act as their human shields and shot when they tried to escape. - Why after 27 years was Sri Lanka able to defeat the LTTE?
