Thanks to both bozh and Suthiano. Very true why at all a Constitution has been ‘written’ instead of being ‘framed’ into human form whose minds are programmed with the virtue of democratic wisdom and behave in a clear,linear and bilateral manner with both mind and heart(body) as One true to the saying ” Let me behave unto others as ‘I’ expect others to behave towards myself”. Every human being stands vertically with one oblong head at the top and two web feet on the ground and a common constitution containing a mottled brain (CPU) in the head and the receptacles of reproductive outlets at the cross point of diverging legs. Now if we try to speak of ‘human constitution’ taking the constituent parts of the physical body as such the workings of every individual part , namely. the external info. sensory like the eyes,ears nose,touch etc. and the internal body management organs will all behave in perfect harmony in a healthy person to keep himself going happily. And essentially the process is the same being perfectly rational and definable to say that the eyes can only see and the ears only hear etc. and the heart left for itself will continue to pump blood to the farthest reaches capillaries life long exactly from person to person as human individuals, ie. all parts working harmoniously together. But not so with individual human personalities! The body constitutions of a holy apostle and a ravaging despot are the same but not the personal virtues. The mind that characterizes personality and hence personal behavior is highly irrational and transcendental in its workings. Therefore what ‘I’ expect from others will be different from ‘my’ dealings with others. This is the fundamental dichotomy of human nature, ie. an unpredictable mind-ego management operating in a perfectly definable body proper. As bozh has correctly observed there is no sanctity of a well drafted constitution and its efficacy in practical organization in the presence of majority ignorance of its tenets and true interpretation in jurisprudence. Also Suthiano’s orientation directs towards Oriental Wisdom in which the irrational and unpredictable workings of mind are constantly corrected in situ from harmful and distorted deviations recalling sacred scriptural injuctions orally programmed by rote while young and indelibily saved in the brain networks thus staying life long with the personalities and delivering from evil by righteous behavior.

most important wisdom: that relating to laws, customs esp. has traditionally been passed ek nou eis vouv dia mesov logov, that is, from mind to mind. the oral tradition is present in all cultures of world and in all cultures those who could remember, recite were highly respected. This is way religious secrets were/are conveyed, and economic and political no doubt.

Putting thoughts into writing inevitably leads to misinterpretation, corruption, and idolizing the words (turning them into golden calves)…

I would say with the constitution all three have occurred. How does one reproduce intent of persons who wrote this.. it is not possible.

a question arises, Wld have the US constitution been written if it cld be understood at any point in time by 99% of amers?
Or even one american. ^^ no query mark or parenthisis here because my computer does not print them at this time^^
Save, of course, the 7 judges! I do not know- but can guess- why a constitution is composed at all. In view of the fact that we have lived once even more contentedly having never heard of it let alone had the stupid thing.
why are the verbiage by a holy nameÉ. To deceive!

As an elected President Mr.Obama has to stand up to the agenda of promises he made to the U.S electorate to bring America back on to a decent track. The laws of land are embedded in the Constitution and the responsibilities of dispensing justice and maintaining the order and welfare of the constituent citizens are vested with the executive and legislative organizations. If the authorities act with a sense of true public service in accordance with legality and justice the errors committed by withholding sensitive information with secrecy for a certain period of time in the interests of public security and welfare can be condoned when de-classified and revealed in public according to the dictum ” Authority needs secrecy but truth requires publicity”. But if absolute power goes into the hold of a chosen few whose inexorable desires give vent to wield it with no sense of shame or fear then the motto ‘In God We Trust’ with which the Constitution was promulgated to yield to the welfare of people becomes ineffective in the practice of jurisprudence. The social order that developed over decades in the national society justified with means for a comfortable living oblivious to the flow of authority becomes impervious to dispensing of justice when things run on a normal course. Now that a radical awareness has taken shape in the American electorate mirrored back by the images of international events and the anomalies of national economy the symbolically elected black President by majority in defiance of blind authority and in support of justice and re establishment of social order has to be tacitly supported with the same zeal of inspired awareness to pursue his programs in priority noting the fact that he is not commissioned to inquire into and redeem the injustices perpetrated by his predecessors which should follow the natural course of practices of national justice which are vested with people for ever and yet caution the law makers while in term of their of office to stand up to justice as a commoners in the real interests of the U.S in particular and regaining a respectable image in the world at large.

Carlos Puebla, the revolutionary Cuban singer has a song with the lyrics that begin like this: “When Nixon left and Ford arrived, they asked me what I thought of Ford. I said I don’t know Ford, but to me Ford is the same as Chevrolet.”

I’ve always maintained that the fact that the racist American ruling classes allowed a black man to become the president of this country has to do with the fact that they are really hurting. Indeed the “bad cop” had to go and let the “good cop” come in and continue the interrogation.

While I do believe there are differences between the Obama administration and the Bush regime, in terms of tactics, I do not believe a US president has the power to bring members or representatives of the US ruling classes to justice in any serious shape or form, unless there are major upheavals taking place in the society.

Let’s face it. Most of the time, the people cannot even put corrupt, criminal cops on trial for shooting innocent black men on the streets of this country. Criminal politicians and government officials? Forget it — unless of course there is significant pressure from below.

As uncomfortable as it may be, if Mr. Obama and his AG try to ignore the crimes of the Bush Administration they then become complicit in them and further America’s moral degeneration, and loss of respect in the world.

In ignoring the wishes of the majority, Mr. Obama also risks being a one-term President, just as Ford payed a price for pardoning Nixon.

The Lincoln/Ford comparison in the headline is good even though I’ve been joking with my Democrat friends, “I feel bad for all the people who thought they were voting for FDR and got Jerry Ford instead.
