andres, yes,
one doesnt ask a monarch to give up his/her power over people. s/he's deposed by a military uprising.
another way is to secretly educate own kids about this iniquity; who later may take necessary steps to remove him/her. tnx

Ever since the Iranian revolution, an observation made by citizens of many Arab countries, in particular Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan is that while Iran maintains an independent posture vis-à-vis the West and in particular the US administrations, these Arab governments function as proxies and puppets of the West. Add to that the repressive nature of these regimes, and you can see why the tyrannous monarchies hate Iran.

The puppet regime of Husni Mubarak, for example, not only carries on the mandates of one US administration after another, but also maintains friendly relations with Israel, which is the enemy of not only Palestinians but also South Africans, and I can tell you the people of Latin America.

Imagine the Saudi religious police, much to the silence of all so-called human rights organizations and the so-called International Criminal Court bringing terror and repression to the citizens of that country with the full blessing of the royal family and the West.

And the Jordanian monarch who is more British than Arab, whose country includes a large population of Palestinians, and who also maintains brotherly relations with the enemy of the Palestinians: Israel?

Well, the people of the Middle East are not blind to these facts. No wonder Iran is more popular among the Saudi population than their own royal family.

The real reason behind this conflict is the feeling of anxiety and insecurity on the part of these monarchies with respect to an independent Iran and the lessons it has for the people of the region.
