I am amazed by his tenacity and his energy having just completed his overland trek of 5,000 miles in the Viva Palestina convoy to Gaza.

A week after Charles Freeman stepped aside as candidate to head the National Intelligence Estimate, citing the “Likud lobby” and their “hammer lock on both public discussion and policy…reinforce[ing]the taboo against any critical discussion of Israeli policies”, the Canadian government has barred British MP George Galloway from entering the country, purportedly for his ties to “Hamas”.

This all while the rubble of Gaza is still being lifted from the streets, and IDF soldiers are admitting to using ‘excessive force’ (http://www.antiwar.com/ips/kesskloch.php?articleid=14431).

“We applaud the government for its explicit recognition that individuals who glorify terrorism and promote hatred be denied access into Canada,” said a statement from B’nai Brith’s executive vice-president, Frank Dimant.

Bernie Farber, CEO of the Canadian Jewish Congress, wrote: “George Galloway enables terrorism. In so doing he puts Canadian civilians at risk and comforts those who fight our soldiers in Afghanistan. The government’s decision was the right one from legal, security and moral viewpoints.”

What has become blatantly obvious to observers is that people like Bernie Farber, Steve Rosen, and groups like B’nai Birth association and AIPAC, serve only one purpose: to enable terrorism.

These groups act as a individual arms of an international propaganda and censorship campaign. They act to censor any real coverage of Israeli war crimes and or the apartheid state.

They have acted to block public discussion and the appointment of alternative thinking individuals to government positions using sophistry and a rhetoric of fear and warmongering.

Will anyone open their eyes and start asking ‘who’s really being terrorized?; and ‘who’s really calling the shots’?
