Extremely well said. When I had first read somewhere that there are over an astounding 200 million guns in this country, I was sure that I had misread that sentence. But I should have realized that in gun happy America that statement was all too true. Whenever I read articles like this I am reminded of the British cult classic series Inspector Morse. In one episode there is a shooting that has taken place in a procession outside Oxford university in which one of the marchers has been killed by rifle fire. Morse [played by the late great British actor John Thaw] arrives on the scene where he studies the carnage and cries out "My God, this isn't America this is England!" His point and his fear was that England would turn into a country that has been inundated with guns and would become just as violent as that country located across the pond. “In fact, you better get more weapons to defend your weapons.” Extremely well said.
