This statement by the woman deserves some exploration. The outrage- the indignation, the annoyance that she expresses are all components of the core of her position. How dare these Palestinians, these... these Arabs- shoot at brave, innocent Israeli paratroopers? Inside their tanks? They might hurt someone. How dare they commit such a deeply and incredibly insulting act as to actually shoot at the tanks that are shooting at them? Don't they know that the boys in those tanks are just good Jewish boys from good homes who are completely incapable of hurting anyone? How could these evil Hamas people put them in this position? After all that Jews have been through? Don't these Arabs know about Hitler? The tanks are there to help these Palestinians, and it's just possible that if they don't recognize that, this woman is going to tell her sons not to bother. It's just such an insult that they would shoot at the people trying so hard to help them out of their backwardness. Put this way you can completely understand where she's coming from. That Palestinian doctor and his three dead daughters should be ashamed. This is quintessential ARROGANCE! To say that a people's demand to have their FREEDOM back is exasperating... That's precisely what Gandhi should be telling the brit vice roy: 'Talking to you, British, and getting you out of Our Land is fucking exasperating!...' Of course, the vice roy wouldn't see it that way. He would look at it as another uppity demand from that bare-footed, half-naked Indian... By the way, I just saw on the news that Israel has declared a unilateral ceasefire in Gaza as from 00:00 hr this Sunday. After unilaterally pounding Gaza to rubble and murdering hundreds of Palestinians, now they declare a unilateral ceasefire. How much more of a humanitarian can one be?
