Teenagers shouldn't have to work, and everyone who does work should make an equal living wage at democratic workers cooperatives, regardless of age, national status, or otherwise.

As a student of the wage and holding a Master's degree in business, I can tell you, Obama can and will not even try to do anything about the wage. And remember its called the "minimum wage' not the "living wage" the minimum wage in the vast majority of cases is a wage earned by teens and new entrants into the workforce, not heads of household. Our economy can dn will only operate effeciently when government quits restraining it. I admire you want for a utopia of prosperity, but it is impossible. in the most thriving and perfect economy their will still be poor and destitute.

obama has been (s)elected by the ruling class and elected by a bit more than 52% of the voters. so, that means that ca 40mn amers did not think he is a new savior.
we`ve had saviors before such as jesus but after his death chrisians were as good as murdering people as any other cult.
obama is not going to budge an inch infavor of working class; he cam eto serve his selectors and not electors.
no prez had done it before him; he`d be the first. forget it!

I hate to burst your bubble, Reverend, but Obama isn't going to do jack squat for working people. Nada. You seem to be of the school that thinks Obama is some beacon of hope. He ain't. Minimum wage needs to be at least $10 an hour if it means to be called a "living wage." That's a big jump from what it is now. There's no way we're going to get there, ever. When it's finally $10, it'll need to be $15. They'll never let us stop being poor wage slaves. The government must be brought down. That is the solution. There is no working with, hoping for, or changing a rigged, failed and corrupt system with conscienceless, detached self-servers calling all the shots. Revolution is called for. It was called for decades ago. It was called for when the first "Captains of Industry" grabbed the common man by the throat. Obama is part of the problem, not the solution.
