Writing on ENEP is good, dynamics of industrial nations and agricultural nations are always different, now monopoly exporter such as oil exporters also started exploiting agricultural based nations. These agricultural based nations should update themselves to latest technologies in argiculture or theywill be wiped out.

It would look better if the follwoing ponits had been added like a)How agro imperilist enter into an agreement with anti-poor government of poor countires. b) people involved in it.

There are lot of such examples in 'Globalization and its discontents' by Joseph Stiglitz

I don't see any contradiction. On the other hand, your confused rambling about "Catholic social teaching" and EU agriculture subsides is something of a "head scratcher".

1. "heavily subsidized food imports from the US and Europe"
2. "agro-imperial investors from the US and Europe have bought millions of acres of fertile farmlands and pastures to supply their imperial homelands"

Can't be both, can it!" If the dastardly imperial homeland has food to export, whether subsidised or handed out free of charge, then the dastardly agro-imperial investors are wasting their money trying to supply it!

In fact, the EU, for example, has a food surplus, even after taking lots of land out of production, and therefore exports food, which gets a subsidy to cover the difference between the absurdly low world market price and what Catholic social teaching calls a "living wage", to which everyone, including farmers, is entitled, says the Church. I'm sure the Member States would love to produce less food and save the subsidy, but to do that, they have to find another way for farmers to make a decent living. Biofuels, perhaps?
