If there were one solitary ounce of justice left in this failed republic, Dennis Kucinich would be President and Bush, Cheney, Condi Rice (let's not forget that evil bitch), and, well, most of Congress would be burning at the stake. After having been repeatedly waterboarded, of course.

It would appear that, despite Jason Leopold's hope, the reason that Cheney can issue his statements in such a brazen fashion is that he in all likelihood believes that he [along with "so what?" Bush] will get away with committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Afghan and Iraqi people. It would be quite surprising to see Obama grow a spine along with a conscience by actually following Leopold's sensible suggestion of having Obama's attorney general prosecute Bush's criminal administration. But given the fact that Obama declined to back Kucinich's articles of impeachment against Bush and Cheney, that may prove to be a forlorn hope.
