UNK, it may have been pointless to put the comment here, but it is factual not racist. A larger number of whites voted for McCain than for Obama. I don't see how that makes me racist to say that?

The NRO was established in 1960. Almost fifty years ago.
How many people have ever heard of it?

"There are still nearly a majority here who would have voted for Bush again, as shown by their votes for McCain."

And certainly a majority of whites, no?

Oooh yeah, another grand Orwellian vision for full spectrum surveillance dominance. How awe inspiring. But as ominous as this sounds it's more pork barrel than gun barrel. This desperate attempt to continue prop up a faltering economy through military Keynesianism won't have the effect intended. It's not working in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebannon, Somalia, Ossetia or anywhere else the US attempts to apply its death machine leviathan toward political and economic ends. Surely the last eight years have demonstrated that to most people by now. On the other hand, there's this observation, "There are still nearly a majority here who would have voted for Bush again, as shown by their votes for McCain."

Sure enough. But the problem with fascist states is that after the shock and awe fades, they get stupid, incompetent and drown in their own wretched poison rather rapidly. And slick politicians surfing to executive power on waves of pipe dreams won't levee that flood.

"What will it take to awaken people?"

After WWI Europe turned right around and did it again.
After WWII the world turned right around and did it again (the "cold" war version).
So what's been the global response in the 21st century? "Oops! We did it again."
Dead people cannot be described as being asleep.

for a partial list of crimes committed by FBI agents over 1500 pages long
google

dallas news forum fbi watch

We are currently working to have communities police themselves, hiring
specialists in criminal investigations, when needed.
We are also working to have law taught in grades 1-12 so when you graduate from high school you can pass the bar exam.

In the first place, the small margin by which Obama won bodes ill for the future. There are still nearly a majority here who would have voted for Bush again, as shown by their votes for McCain.

In the second place, a person rarely hears reports such as this except on sites like DV. Most of the U.S. herd bleats contentedly as more surveillance are installed in public places, as their communications are swept up by NSA and other agencies, with assistance from telecommications companies, as private security outfits continue to expand. The herd continues to repeat the mantra, "If I have done nothing wrong, I have nothing to fear."

The herd continues to worship the military in its belief that the military is protecting freedom for us all, even as those freedoms continue to disappear with every bullet fired, every bomb dropped. Wake up, folks, the military does not serve you. It serves only the wealthy, and it will turn on you at the first sign of serious dissent from the status quo.

If one states the obvious, the fact that we live in a fascist state that is in the last stages of becoming a fascist police state, then one is derided, or chided with the message that "Americans" don't like the word fascist. What will it take to awaken people?
