Some days it’s just plain obvious: “Life sucks, and then you die.” American democracy is in the toilet; and as a result, “We,” as the character Leonard said in Full Metal Jacket, “ARE in a world of shit.”

But that’s still a small part of the problem. Even if all votes were guaranteed to be fairly & accurately counted, how much would that be worth when the choice in candidates is so limited and stacked?
