Millions of Americans do not pray to Allah, but recognize that it is an inalienable right of those who do to live and pray in peace wherever they are–including inside the United States.

Are you referring to the millions of American atheists? Or did you not know that Allah is the Arabic word for God?

What I’m saying is that millions of Americans DO pray to Allah–God.

Also, it’s “toe” the line, now “tow” the line, unless you’re talking about fishing or some such. Lastly, “fallabilities”.

funny that she would go to Damascus to speak about HR and not mention the atrocious situation in this country where there is no legal opposition, no free press, where opponents are murdered or disappear… Maybe the “treatment accorded to her” would pale in comparison to that too…

Cynthia, just this morning I did a post on the Palestinian crisis and I find your experience echoes some of the issues that I raised.

It’s great that people are keeping the huge injustice that is occurring in the Middle East because of Israel and America before the public gaze.

I’ve recommended that Israel be dismantled. I see no other just solution.

we, or some of us (5-6bn) will never recognize israel. it is doomed to be wretch;fully deserving its demise.
as an aside, jesus was quoted as saying that the meek will inherit the earth.
but he didn’t say who wld inherit mansions. nor did he say what one must do to deserve label “meek”.

Ms. McKinney, why would you say, “I do believe that it was just a misunderstanding.” there is every reason to think that your travel was curtailed because someone has the power to stop you from traveling. your case is probably not applied like the death penality; that is, arbitrary and capriciously. rather your case is probably just someone not liking you or what you might say in damascus– and just to let you know who the boss is.
i don’t understand why you would say this when everyone with a brain knows better. are you trying to be nice to the murderous bush/cheney gang.
anyway, i voted for you and will again if you run. please, no more innocent remarks.
