What annoys me is this whole discussion of Palin's wardrobe. What is the big deal? Clothes cost money...so do the body guards that both campaigns are using, and airplanes, helicopters and so forth. The sexist part of this strategy has been to hone in on Palin's clothes while ignoring the fact that Obama is hemorrhaging money on pubicity that could be used to fund AIDS research centers. Much more money than Palin's wardrobe. Why is everyone focussing on the most sexist and absurd part of this campaign. At least Palin is making esthetic improvement while I cannot say the same for the other candidates.

The hypocrisy and sexism of the media critique of Palin is annoying to me. And I am a Nader supporter who does not like either of the two mainstream choices.

Garbage and embarrassing garbage. "Few can transform a pitbull into a vice presidential candidate overnight with the right lipstick and hairdo. Good talent is hard to come by these days, and Strozzi has a better grasp of fashion than Sarah Palin has on her politics." Sexist b.s.
I'm getting damn sick of the men AND women who think they can pollute DV with their garbage.
Mathew Maavak is presumably a grown man. How about he tries writing like one?
I don't want to read another reference to makeup or clothes here. Take it to Sassy, Mathew Maavak.
