None of this has been covered on British TV 'news' (that I know of). Our so-called 'news' has recently been relentlessly informing us of the US presidential election campaign (but almost none of the Canadian one) - something none of us could vote in anyway - even if we wanted to; almost daily coverage of something called 'Strictly Come Dancing'; and almost daily coverage of events in some African safari park. All this as 'news'. Our 'news' has now even airbrushed out our own royal family (not that I'm complaining about that) - to be replaced with the US royal family instead.
