I'm Puerto Rican; born and raised on the island. The majority of Puerto Ricans are proud to be U.S. citizens. You have 3% or so of the island's population who say are fighting for independence. It is unfortunate that anything that is negative gets enough attention by the media. We Puerto Ricans are one of the most fortunate Latin Americans because of the United States. There is no doubt that we would be another "Banana Republic", if it were not for the U.S. We can even try to blame the U.S. for the political stalemate we currently have (statehood vs. status quo). However, we have no one else to blame but ourselves. We need to be involved. We need to be united until we become the 51st state of the great U.S. The way to do it is to get political and economical power. Most Puerto Ricans love America, fight for her and for her. We need to unite and build up political influence. Do you know who was the last Puerto Rican with any type of influence in Washington? Interestingly enough, it was not someone in favor of statehood. It was our great leader Luis Munoz Marin. He put our little island ahead of his own interest. He knew the commonwealth state was a temporary status. Let's get involved and make our "Island of Enchantment" the 51 state. Do not get distracted by a tiny minority who wants to destroy our island. Viva Puerto Rico y Los Estados Unidos de America. TRASH everywhere! Schools that have no working bathroom...Holiday on the Beach in Cabo Rojo with over 10,000 people and NOT ONE BATHROOM to use!! DISGUSTING!!! What would it be like without the USA? You won’t be told this in court but: All jury members, judges, attorneys, and employees working in federal court, must reside in federal territory to legally be a federal juror or touch your case or they can be commercially sued, disbarred and financially ruined for violating your constitutional rights etc. Your god given right to be free is not wanted by the USA, it will oppose your desire for independence and freedom, because the Federal USA is a profit based Corporation. The Federal Government is a District of Columbia “Corporation”, as are all the States of the USA. These Corporations were formed for the benefit of the real owners. Since June of 1933, everything since then, is under Contract law or commercial law, aka Admiralty law, to benefit your masters in power. The Federal Government owns Puerto Rico as an ASSET, because it is a slave colony—whether you like the idea or not. But the Federal Government takes orders from those who own and run this (Corporation) Country, but are not of this country. The International Bankers, who really own the corporations called the USA, will let PR be free, only if enough real men of Boricua blood wish to be free, by reserving their rights under the Constitution.
