We NEED to get some major privacy laws passed. Like there needs to be a max distance allowed to read the tags for consumer items. But I would rather see NO line item tagging. Im really getting tired of haveing no privacy. Im not really sure how much I ever had but sure seems like Im about to lose a whole lot more. I am seriously considering moving to another country where the government respects its citzens. Not sure if it exists though. I really do hope tha America isnt the last hope cause this place is in the crapper. The Reps could care less and spend alot of time helping the corperations make their money and watch us. The whole political system is just a bunch of lap dogs for the corperations. We are a Facist or Socailist country now, and the bailout plan is just more evidence. All HAIL

PS whens that rocket ready for MARS. I am so ready to get off this rock. Maybe it will be a second chance to freedom. I can wish cant I....Still allowed right?

I disagree. It is conditioning. The sort that people who watch, or read, the "news" every day. Conditioning of the same sort that they get from advertisements and televised commercials, of the sort that is provided by educators in the K-12 system. People have been conditioned to fear. Fear of drugs, fear of crime, fear of the evil "others", usually called "terrorists" and usually depicted with darker skins, from other parts of the world. As a result of that fear, they willingly surrender what little freedom they have, in exchange for "security".

A generation has reached adulthood not knowing a television screen lacking conditioning lies that pose as ads for military service. A generation that has not known television without ads for hired-goon home protection agencies is nearing adulthood.

To say that these people will rage after it is too late is not to deny conditioning. At some point survival instinct overcomes conditioning, yet it is the response to conditioning that has brought us to our pathetic state to begin with.

Here we go again. Most of this information concerning the abuses
of RFID's has been available since the publication of "Spy Chips ".
As with all warnings/criticisms of this rapacious plutocracy, trust
of those who control this technology is absent and with good rea-
son.

No explaination can trump common sense. Why trust anyone who
states that they're best interests are your best interests, when the im-
plimentation of any social, technical, or political policy is shrouded
secrecy and false assurances? Why would anyone with a cursory know-
ledge of history, trust that this technology would never be abused by it's creaters and the government to control peaceful dissent ?

This government can no longer trusted with even the appearance of
giving a damm about the of its citizens. All they want is obedient, do-
cile workers, who are required to follow the orders of racists, liers, and murderers who control this country. If one dosen't conform to everything they're told, they die at the hands of their so-called bet-
ters.

But better at what? Better at turning intelligent, peaceful, disagree-
ment into a bloodsport, where one keeps score by how many lives they
can destroy in the name conformity and control? Whose rise isn't hin-
dered by a silly thing like a conscience. Nooo, can't let that get in the way of greed and vanity.

When one constantly defends their right to another view on policy
that effects their life and the lives of others, patience for bullies, mur-
derers, and liers runs out. If one wishes to hide behind laws whose
only purpose is enforce conformity, Then be transparent about it.

Example of transparentcy: bully " Officer, this one dosen't follow
might makes right. I threatened to kick his ass if he didn't praise
our glorious president. I can say whatever I want to him because
I am physically and intellectually stronger than him. He then said
You attack, You die, Don't attack, You Live. Let's see If you immor-
tal. Officer: Your correct, Sir. He must be dealt harshly. Attack, if
he raises even an eyebrow in defience, Beat him severely. A mes-
sage with no ambiguity will be sent to all. Heaven help him if he ac-
tually fights back, Kill him.

All in the society would comform or die under crystal clearity. If
the non-conformist actually prevailed, then the oppression they
disagreed with in the first place would take over. People wouldn't
have any choice, but imprisonment or death for the crime of fighting
back when getting f--ked with by intellectual or physical intimidation.

Sorry for the rant, but I personally have had it with anyone who believes in free f#%k, Opps, I mean trade. Anyone who marches to go along to get along and if one dosen't agree, run a whispering cam-
paign of lies to destroy groups or individuals. That'll show em whose
boss.

Thanks to all the laws that were passed in the last 30 years, especially
nafta, gatt, partriot act, and the new fisa bill for leaving decent people
with no option anymore but to fight back by any means necessary.
Exercise your freedom of speech at every opportunity. If you are in
any way attack or sanctioned, be proportional in your response.
Words for words, actions for actions.

RFID-Smart Cards are easy to scramble, easy to destroy (just put your new shirt into the microwave) and easy to be clogged (f.e. with some aluminium paper). The real problem is: while you and me and alot of other people, who actually care about their privacy, who are concerned about the ongoing surveillance society - we care and we would prevent this system to work. But the main mass of people, whether in US, EU or India, China, Australia...it does not matter - the main mass of people just wouldn't care. And that's why we are in such a situation in the first place.

As Brian said:
"Thus they have become the baby bird, straining its neck upward to receive digested worms from momma. They have no desire to control their own fate, for whom a totalitarian reality is always the last game before eternal night."

It's not so much conditioning as the belief that they are a "good" (read, obedient) American for whom a surveillance state will present no trouble at all, and will likely be a benefit as it will catch the "evil-doers".

Americans learn little from history and the world, have outsourced their thinking just like they do everything else in their lives (they receive entertainment by pressing a button), and are otherwise complacent and even eager to sit back and reap whatever imperial benefits the American state is able to provide them.

Thus they have become the baby bird, straining its neck upward to receive digested worms from momma. They have no desire to control their own fate, for whom a totalitarian reality is always the last game before eternal night.

There is really little conditioning involved. You'll find this out if the American Empire falls and runs out of worms (imperial benefits) to feed the babies. Suddenly the babies will rage and rage, which is when the surveillance state will do what's it's intended to do - "pacify" the internal population.

The babies will do anything for worms - they call it "the good life". Mammon is the god, Malls and Superstores are the Holy Lands, and Shopping is daily worship.

The outcome? Whatever it is, it won't be pretty.

Mention this to the average USan on the street, and they will shrug, or they will welcome it, just as they have welcomed video surveillance cameras in our major cities, just as they have welcomed searches before entry into public buildings. The conditioning over the last 40 years has worked.
