On September 16th the BBC website reported Olmert's words on the hounding out by settlers of Palestinians from their village of Asira al-Qabaliya: 'Mr Olmert said at what could be his last cabinet meeting: "This phenomenon of taking the law into their own hands and of brutal and violent attacks is intolerable... There will be no pogroms against non-Jewish residents." ' Total hypocrisy and vain words. He has reigned over the occupying force's policy of terror and harassment against the Palestinians for too long. Will Ms Livni bring any change?
