What I just wrote in my last comment got me thinking. So let's try this.

Morpheus: I imagine that right now, you're feeling a bit like Alice. Hmm? Tumbling down the rabbit hole?
Neo: You could say that.
Morpheus: I see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up. Ironically, that's not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?
Neo: No.
Morpheus: Why not?
Neo: Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.
Morpheus: I know *exactly* what you mean. Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?
Neo: The Matrix.
Morpheus: Do you want to know what it is?
Neo: Yes.
Morpheus: The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

Now the slaves in this country make up 90% of the population and growing and why is this the way it is?
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy. From their point of view, their power has exceeded that of any time in which economic statistics have been kept. Their greed is (as Aristotle noted) infinite, Their greed is (as Aristotle noted) infinite, Their greed is (as Aristotle noted) infinite.
I don't know about you but to just sit in my kitchen in the morning and have a good cup of coffee and not ask for that much is just fine with me and I'll bet most people are like that the 90%. Of course on a daily basis the 90% are told you need to buy this and do this and walk this way and talk this way and is hard to fight. I talk with many people the 90% and many I talk with have more wisdom in there little finger than the 10% I hear about and see on TV talking like little children and in many cases what they say is a form of insanity.

And isn't it a bad thing to be deceived about the truth, and a good thing to know what the truth is? For I assume that by knowing the truth you mean knowing things as they really are.
What is at issue is the conversion of the mind from the twilight of error to the truth, that climb up into the real world which we shall call true philosophy. (Plato, Republic)

So there you 10% and I think the fight is on.

The Chicago Boys have succeeded in censoring any alternative to their free-market rationalization of asset stripping and economic polarization.

Asset stripping:

The practice of acquiring a company, then selling parts of it, in the hope that the cash realised from these sales will match the entire acquisition cost, meaning that the asset stripper is left with the remaining parts at nil cost.

Economic polarization

A snapshot of urban gentrification in San Francisco shows what is happening throughout the U.S., according to a new Brookings Report. The middle class is not only losing ground, but entire neighborhoods, and the consequences are far-reaching. "In San Francisco and across the Bay Area, middle-class neighborhoods are disappearing as the skyrocketing cost of housing forces middle-income families to flee in search of affordability." Planetizen

To flee in search of affordability. How about in front of the Capital in Washington DC. Millions of tent's. Kind of a Country in a Country. Heck it could be called, "camp we the people".

IMO what I thought was the best line in the article...

Michael Hudson: What do you mean “failure”? Your perspective is from the bottom looking up.

Hudson reminds us why we need to break away from the language of the ruling class.

Just sent your article to CNN as what you wrote will probably get no light but at least we know they know.

Yes, ‘n’ how many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free?
Yes, ‘n’ how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn’t see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.
