Also an important point the author missed is that the gains in the polls by the McCain is coming from WHITE woman over the Palin pick.
In fact white woman for that matter was the major factor in Bush's victory in 2004. Ignoring or diminishing RACE as a major factor in the campaign by the author clearly demonstrate yet another blind-spot by the Left.

So long, Barry. It was nice knowing ya. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out…

While I found the article humorous I think the author should respect and not mock Barack Obama's name. His name is not "Barry". Does that put the author in the same ranks as the Ocho Cinco haters?

Obama left the Republicans the opening when he fucked his base over. Radical lefties tried to tell Obama, but he wouldn’t listen.

Here I semi-agree with the author. Obama choice of Biden and his position on FISA was a departure from his base and very much upset his base.

However the author ignores racism as a factor in this election as well as in the NFL. Like the hating that Ocho Cinco now faces Barack Obama faces a similar challenge of racism having his name mocked throughout this campaign. Racism is a phenomenon that African Americans face at all class levels. The author mocking Obama's name is representative of that steep clime African American still face -- even on the Left.

What I would advise the author to do is to examine how the Left's created the void now being filled by Obama. The void created by the Left's unwillingness to confront key issues opened up the opportunity for an Obama's run and kept the door open for Obama to choose Biden.

But let's be honest, the Left doesn't support any Democrat so how is it that that the author can say that radicals "tried to tell" Obama anything. The Left is banking on Obama to lose as it should.

Explanation considered, this looks like an excuse to talk football...

What's more interesting to me is watching the hatred towards Chad from all fans in the NFL.- Go on any fan site and read it. It's racist or just jealous. The slaves (no matter how well paid) are despised for self promotion...a self promotion which is celebrated when the masters (the NFL and their owners) do it well for themselves. It's not the largest stand anyone's ever made (if he simply did it to fight Brown--I think it's at least big enough to be making self promo against the wishes of the NFL in gerneral) but it's brave and should be applauded-not hated- by all who wish they had as much say in their own circumstances of slavery.

I hope this leads him to make other statements, because he's about to get an education if he didn't know what was about to come.

Giving Joe Montana two chances (questionable penalty) to throw that touchdown, all those years ago, cost the Bengals their big chance for the big trophy. Too bad, Ken Anderson was one of the good guys and a great qb.

That said, most fans think Obama couldn't carry Palin's jock strap.
