I cannot find the words to convey the depth of my anger, my anguish, my gut-wrenching disappointment in my country’s leaders. I doubted the legitimacy for this war from the very beginning and now, our worst fears have been realized. The nation was conned by lies and by gullable politicians who failed the us utterly. The Bush regime has been nothing less than a disaster, on a scale unprecedented. The America we may have once been, and the America we have become, have nothing in common. I grieve the death of our experiment in democracy. It has died.

while it may be true that a majority of amers deem at this time invasion and occupationof iraq a failure, it may be not true that those who started the war and persist in occupying iraq for decades or even centuries, deem the (ad) venture a failure but a relative success.
like all previous ruling class’ ventures, the two latest ones, also cost lives/money.
but as always before- it seeems to me- some people make oodles of money from such ventures.
as for use of lies to wage wars……..thank u
