Katrina is a perfect example of how the system we have now diverts responsibility and hides behind it's mechanisms. The attitude of the administration harks back to Thatcher's 'there is no alternative'. It is further testament to the utter bankruptcy of the Bush administration. Aid is rushed to (the country of) Georgia, Florida will be quickly rebuilt as usual, while New Orleans remains forgotten.
