Morris may wish to note that far from "reduce suffering", the result of such an ethnic cleansing is a further corruption of the morality of the state as well as the people, leading necessarily to a tragic future. The American state backed by the complicity of it's people followed this extermination with a vision of Manifest Destiny, which turned into a vision of World Domination beginning in 1898 and becoming fleshed out in the early to mid 1940s. This same kind of future would be the result of the "success" of the Israeli state by way of exterminating and/or expelling the Palestinians. Hitler, for all of the demonization he receives, is little different from either the Israeli or the American state. His version of World Domination was merely more extreme, and merely less practical or effective. Far less dangerous. Evil always turns in upon itself. Hitler, the Israeli state, and the American state, are happy to exterminate "outsiders", but in the unfortunate event of their victory and the elimination of the "outside threat", the state merely turns more of it's attention to the "inside threat". It doesn't matter if the Israeli state becomes 100% Jews. It doesn't matter if the entire world becomes 100% Jews and allies of the Israeli state. States always want more control, and will invent an enemy where there is none. In the end, if it comes to such a conclusion, Jews will happily exterminate Jews. By that time they will know no other way. Once the path of domination is chosen, there is no going back. Choose wisely.
