MXS,
"I see what YOU want is a socialized/communist state that punishes success and rewards failure, take money from the people who earn it and give it to the ones who don’t. Why is my responsiblility to pay for everybodies problems in life?"

Oh,yea? Do you mean to say that the 400 Forbes magazine top multi-millionaires success was honestly earned with the sweat of their brow?
Then explain to me why the USA keeps over 500 military bases all over the world? OR preemptively attacks a country like Iraq for their oil?
OR how the US government gets foreign governments to do what the US wants by just buying their leaders with money, like that Pakistan dictator Musharraf?

For your info, George F. Kennan, in one of his best-known pieces of writing on US foreign policy "Policy Planning Study 23", written for the State Department planning staff in 1948, reads in part:

"We have about 50% of the world's wealth, but only 6.3% of its population. ... In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity. ... To do so, we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming; and our attention will have to be concentrated everywhere on our immediate national objectives. ... We should cease to talk about vague and ... unreal objectives such as human rights, the raising of the living standards, and democratization. The day is not far off when we are going to have to deal in straight power concepts. The less we are then hampered by idealistic slogans, the better."

Is this how YOU, hard-working dudes, reward your successes and punish the failures of others?
Why should it be YOUR responsiblility to pay for everybodies problems in life? Why should YOU, indeed! Rather nuke them and suck their blood like leeches until they dry to the bone....and then have your name featured in the next edition of Forbes magazine as a Paragon of Success !

I don't know what MXS is complaining about. This is about a congressional race not the Presidential race. Pelosi needs to be held accountable and I hope Cindy Sheehan defeats her.

You People are so entertaining. All you do is piss and moan about Bush. All you do is piss and moan about anything and everything you don’t like about going on in America. I see what YOU want is a socialized/communist state that punishes success and rewards failure, take money from the people who earn it and give it to the ones who don’t. Why is my responsiblility to pay for everybodies problems in life? Let’s just spread the misery I guess. I hear Russia or Venezuela would more be more then willing to have you over there. They have the government you covet. Keep on CRYING because I can’t wait to hear you piss and moan about McCain winning and how the Republican stole the election again. That is what you PEOPLE are all about blaming everyone but yourselves.

Best wishes to the 'Peace Mom' from the 'Vermont Peace Grandma'. I have accepted the nomination of the Liberty Union Party for Vt Attorney General. Hint - State Attorneys General can Indict Bush for murder as described by Vincent Bugliosi in his new book.
