Very imformative. Dusty got himself into trouble, but that's CIA old school; from William Casey, Richard Helms, to George Bush. However, now a days its considered politically incorrect and unpatriotic. I agree, but why change the rules? If it was okay for Bill, Bob and George why not Dusty..

Simple fact is that at the end of Bush's term Gonzalez, et.al. could be and will likely be pardoned. This would be a break for Obama who's too much a political insider to want to do anything about it and to deal with all crimes related to the Bush regime.

Thank you for this extremely good and welcome news, Jason Leopold. I was beginning to think I'm the only person who reads Dissident Voice that gives a damn about Gonzales' despicable history.

Mukasey's as bad as you say, John, but it is ex-AG Alberto Gonzalez's name that could conceivably be surfaced by the Bush Administration itself, before November's elections. And to belabor the point I made to Jason: there's been so little news on the "Alberto Gonzalez retirement front" for the last six months that the ignominious retirement of Bush's co-conspirator from Texas after the US Attorney Firing Scandal COULD be irretrievably lost down Chomsky's "rat hole of history." And the Chipmunk COULD figure, why not take credit for Good Housekeeping in the Justice Department (itself) while there's still time before the elections?

AG Mukasey isn't just a Bush 'loyalist', but a throughly corrupt one out to serve his boss rather than the law. How could it be otherwise?

The last ex AG to go to jail was Nixon's John Mitchell. I hope Mukasey will be next, but these guys are more corrupt, evil, and desperate than Nixon's people ever were, even though that's saying a lot.
