No way at all they are going to improve on it. Get your kids in front of that tv set early enough, allow the right people to control the content, and the kid is under complete control by the time they are 5. For the rest of their lives. And since this has been going on seriously for over 20 years (it took them awhile to realise what they had and start using it seriously - my generation, born before 1960 at the latest, is about the last generation still with a brain that can think rationally, I think - sure there are exceptions, but as 'cohorts', as the insurance people look at things, there's not a whole lot of people under 50 or so doing a whole lot of thinking these days, outside of what they are told to think on that box).
