Bozhidar... Thanks for the comment. I agree but 8 is an underestimate.

Max...The biggest obstacle is the uninformed voter.

Hue...I'm glad you asked. The magic is that it only takes one AG or county prosecutor - one out of a thousand. Vermont has a candidate for Attorney General who is very interested in this project. The candidate's name is Rosemarie Jackowski. You can read more on the Liberty Union web site. Just google ' Meet Rosemarie Jackowski'.

While I think this article puts the proper perspective - that impeachment is almost a trivialization of the crimes against humanity that have been committed - complicity can be a tricky business when looking for ultimate justice.

But we have a model in Germany whereby the system that propelled the Nazis was ultimately put on trial, the key players were prosecuted, but the country went through something of a transformation - not enough because geopolitical reasons, but still some degree. I realize that there is no perfect comparison, but it is the closest to what has happened in Amerika.

Because the US was not brought to its knees as it has lost one guerilla war after another, there is no clear victor to break up the regime that rules this country and its preditory ways.

My point, we will not see in the short run a series of trials which will bring complete justice, but it will be through the judicial systems, here and elsewhere that we can begin to put this imperial preditory system and its msin actors on trial before the world.

in comparison to bush's misdeeds, nixon was deposed for trivial reasons.
but there may be at least 8 americas:
1)plutocratic/governing. it may comprise ab 3-10mn amers
2)multimillionairs
3)middle class
4)working class
5)latino
6)blacks
7)indigenous
8)immigrants
9)prisoners
it is the governing class;i.e., uncle sam, who decides whether one of their own gets punished.
especially one of their own who acted on his behalf.
