I am afraid Bush's "legacy" will continue after the next selected President assumes power, even with Obama and the Democrats (co-conspirators with the Republicans).
What a legacy!
* Over one million slaughtered in an illegal war for oil and profit in Iraq. Continuation of the war(s) in Iraq and the Middle East.
* Refusal to do anything about Global Warming or the massive pollution caused by his corporate base. He refused to do anything about polluters if it would affect their profits. The "tripping point" to global destruction may have been reached and global warming will continue unchecked as millions die.
* Massive tax cuts to the richest 1 - 5%, even while spending billions (trillions) on war.
* Mass media corrupted. The Dennis Kucinich's, Ralph Naders, Cindy Sheehans never get a voice on the corporate controlled elections and mass media.
* Religion corrupted. "Faith-Based" bribes paid out to true-believers who believe that G.O.P spells GOD.
* The massively corrupt corporate looting of the economy. Wall street scandals, banking scandals, decline of the dollar, oil manipulations, etc.
* Privatization of the federal government. The CIA is 60% outsourced. The destruction of public education, public health services, support services essential to the survival of working people.
* Public infrasturcture undermined due to lack of funding or concern: Katrina, Minnesota bridge collapse, explosition in NY subway, and now the collapse of levees along the Mississippi and massive flooding in the Mid-west. Yet another indication of Bush's legacy.

Where can the opposition organize to oppose a continuation of this destruction?
Millions of people have been polled that the opinion of Bush's legacy and of Congress is extremely negative.

We the people need a new anti-war, anti-corpoate People's Peace Party.

Bush's legacy is and always will be that he did nothing and in many way's helped the destruction of the Planet Earth. Yes he get's top billing on that vision. This whole legacy thing is way over rated anyway.

Perhaps he is trying to emulate his friend, Bliar, the other arch war criminal. Deep inside themselves they must have uneasy consciences.
