Thank all of you for your response. I would like to recommend Rense.com. To understand who these people are who stand where they ought not, study Jeff Rense and the Babylonian Talmud. This is the main staple of these folk’s spiritual food. Prepare to be utterly shocked, and you will have an utter understanding of just what is truly happening right before our very eyes. The author can’t understand America’s “irrational defense of Israel”. Either can I. But the picture becomes clearer when you consider religion’s dirty hand involved (yet again). When religion becomes involved in a conflict, the word irrational is appropriate – people cannot negotiate when it is involved. “Land, water, oil – it’s all ours cos God or Allah gave it to us. We live here…..you live there. End of negotiation.” Many of the so-called negotiations have broken down cos of it – why is the issue of Jerusalem so taboo, it’s just a chunk of land? Cos three of the world’s foremost religions lay claim to it. Religion is not the only driving force (imperialism, geopolitical control over oil etc), but do this mental exercise – imagine for a minute that religion is destroyed (by the UN, for example) and then try to picture what the region would be like……………….

Cole Newbury, I agree that we have to be careful of anyone who claims heritage from the original Jews – their temple, along with their genealogical records, was destroyed in 70CE. It’s a bit like the pope claiming heritage from the apostle Peter. Baloney!

I thought I was a descendant of Hercules until last October when I broke my ankle playing football. Now I’m a descendant of Achilles!

i do not know the actuall numbers of mizrahic, sephardic, and ashkenazic people inthe world or in palestine.
hp says ab 85-95 of all jews in palestine and world r ashkenazim.

yes we need more study about the ashkenazic people to determine who these people r.
that they r an admixure of people there is no doubt.
i think that they r mostly slavo-germanic/baltic people altho originally they may have been pure asians/ khazars.
as to their ‘right’ to palestine, it’s to me in toto irrelevant who these people r genetically.

Bozhidar more info on what fraction of the occupation population is Ashkanazic would be helpful. For those who do not know the Ashkanazi come from a land in the Caucasus. They were Pagans (not jew, christian, muslim). They lived between a Muslim land and a Christian land. The King did not want war with either neighbor but if he had the people convert to Christianity he would have war with his Muslim neighbors and if they converted to Christianity he would have war with his Muslim neighbors. So he declare all his subjects would be Jews from now on. These are people who never had relatives in Palestine no matter how far back you go.
