Gushed I tell you gushed!
:O

JR: Okay, I'm coming out of the closet, and admitting I'm one of you. There, I can say it, at last, out loud and proud: I'm a conservative-paleo-libertarian with a man-crush on Obama.

Whew! What a relief! Now that I've got that off my chest, I can speak freely, and openly, about my condition – and, what's more, address my fellows in the spirit of mutual solidarity and support. Because it looks like we're going to need all the support we can get.

First, my story: Like many of you, I tried to deny it. I lived deeply, and tragically, closeted, afraid to face my inner desires and tortured by the possibility that someone might find out. Trying not to look at him when he came on television – which, as you know, is often. I looked, of course, but only out of the corner of my eye, and tried not to swoon as those golden words melted the very air.

What?????

A "new pic at antiwar" ? Let me check that!

(gasp!) oh, my God! It's true! It's true!

Who is this person masquadering as Justin Raimondo? A stranger in his place, maybe?

Or is it really JR, who perhaps, quit smoking (assuming he ever did?)

Or did he, in light of the US administration's inability to clean up its act, decide to clean up his?

And what's with the allegation that he "gushed over Obama"? JR gushing? GUSHING?

The world is gone mad. When JR sinks to the level of gushing, we are doomed! Doomed, I tell you!

Funny, I never imagined guys like John "Defense Porker" Murtha (D) as being spooked by republican rhetoric. Murtha has never met a big budget defense spending he didn't like, no matter how it's appropriated.

Congressional Dems delay approving war funds just long enough to make their silly sheep believe they want to end the war - but alas, they must "support the troops" with more funding. Well ... all but the 1 or 2 ruling class designated naysayers like Denny Kucinich, Ron Paul, etc.

As for Homeland Secuirty, locally, in my podunk town of 16,000, a couple of businesses have boomed from the "war on terror." Not providing jobs per se, just a dozen guys designing items like bomb proof guard shacks, which will be manufactured elsewhere. Our local cop shop was given a few million for a SWAT team and bomb squad - not that we've ever needed them but townfolks think the guys look cool driving around in 2 black hummers and eating apple fritters.

Cost estimate: There's a lot more pockets, at home and abroad, to line.

If congress will not stop the funding - someone should tell the people to stop funding congress. Unfortunately, the people are deafened by that tingle that goes up their leg when they see Obama.
