Hizbullah never won the war, it was not a invasion, the whole world is stupid, it was about Jets razing Lebanon to the ground, english …. bomb lebanon 30 years backwards, soldiers were just a front, rues, to hide the real truth, raze all the houses in muslim Lebanon to the ground and watch Hizbullah take the blowback for not living up to fixing all the homes levelled to the ground, The election was a show of unhappy and pissed off people about how Hizbullah lazy morons DID NOT do as they said, and like this was ever going to happen with 25 to 50 billion U$ dollars to fix the country, and they blewup all the factories, are you in Lebanon and out of work because of a US bomb dropped by a jew? Hizbullah circus fly-by-stunt taking the IDF soldiers was not quite the stunt Hizbullah though it was going to be.
N_ASS-rallah was a real HERO!!! now was he not!! With more hero’s like that Lebanon will be moving to Syria permenantly. Chicken muslims ran to Syria, and Christians put up so many muslims, Stupid Christens.

SZ, the formation of Hezbollah was a direct reaction to the Israeli harsh invasion of 1982, they were just people defending their lands against the bruatlity of an outside invader.
It is prepostrous to even consider that it is Hezbollah who instigated the 2006 war. Read it in international law. As a reaction to the border skirmish, Israel had the right to retaliate “proportionally” to the accident, certainly not launching a full scale war, why do we need the UN otherwise.
The delibration is an acknowledgment to the fact that Israel was affected in its two war guiding principles: blitzkrieg (fast war), and the setting aside of its internal front.
The commission itself and the conclusions it reached, was in many ways a kind of sherade, designed to alleviate public pressure on the government. I think it was Ehud Olmert who designated the members of the commission, to consider the actions of his government.

No., Israel has not met its match, yet. Continuing to advance this silly notion will hasten the demise of once beautiful country. It seems that outsiders only care about the score with little regard to the catastrophe that afflicted Lebanon since July 06: Paralyzed government, failing economy and massive emigration by people losing hope of any physical or economic security.
What pains me is that some people in Lebanon will mistakenly interpret Israel’s deliberation as weakness, making them more prone to provoke as conflict, to test their invincibility.

After all, America has provided its inspiration ever since WW2. Invasion and brutal occupation are the name of the game. That and a huge military. That and hegemony.

Hezbollah has probably replaced its defensive capabilities and even is upgrading them as we speak. It is rumored within the English written Arab press that Hezbollah rockets can now hit most of Israel including Tel-Aviv and its international airport.

Time for Israel and its supports in the USA to wake up and take the “moral” approach before it is too late. Afterall, “trade begets tolerance” is a historical cornerstone of human society. The question now is simple. Will the USA Zionist actually put the good of Israel – to make peace with its neighbors – before their own selfish “fund raising” interests?

The irony here is so incredibly rich – the colonial powers are all capitalists, and vie with each other for arms sales to the 3rd world. Then that 3rd world attains the capability of destroying the colonial armies.

The IDF (and the brains behind it) showed their true colors at the end when they dumped all those thousands and thousands of cluster bombs for the sole purpose of ongoing terror and murder of civilians.

On a bright note, the IDF now issues piss proof under wear for the troops. For future protection against even a mention of the word Hezbollah.

Even better (and safer) tactics are being initiated by Israel in any future combat scenarios. This features, predominately, the use of American troops and equipment to fight any (and hopefully all) battles needing fought which may require actual combat against real soldiers and enemies other than children armed with sling shots and rocks.
