I think you miss the point. The education system, itself, is broken. We need people with vision and resolve to be able to execute on new ideas. This can only happen through disrputive capital. NSVF is really more of a philanthropic organization, though, and invests in more nonprofits that private companies.

I do agree with your critique that we need to keep structural improvements to the capitalist system that promote equal opportunity and move towards equality. I also do not buy the capitalist argument that unions are bad. I think they've brought about so many good things about American society and international labor relations through a hard won struggle.

The tenure system is not necessarily good for teachers. The education system does need the ability to invest in human resources, and, inevitably that means it needs to be able to get rid of ineffective teachers (not blame effective teachers for an ineffective system nor fire them for political reasons).

Excellent, Seth. I'll send this to Linda Roberts, also to Georgia West who runs Underground Books located in the St Hope complex portion of K. Johnson's emerging Empire.

BTW, did I say that I view Kevin J. as the most dangerous CA politician to emerge since Arnold? Even more dangerous than Zionist thoughtcop Darrel Steinbug?
