This is somewhat related: I've been trying to get petitions to persuade multiplexes to give up one of their many screens for documentary films on a regular basis. The ghettoization of documentary films - with only Michael Moore's (terrific) films getting any traction due to his celebrity - is a major problem. While I think it is fine to "preach to the converted" (and certainly having to order a DVD for $15 is preaching to the converted!), it is also imperative that these films get discussed vigorously in the mainstream press and shown at mainstream venues. The hope is that audiences will grow as a habit is formed of going to more documentary films. Question: how to get a strong petition going?

Just more of the same that the rest of the world already realizes. Have first hand experience as how your government has done a fantastic job of brainwashing americans. Your own education system is to blame as it has been hijacked by the very people who feed you shit on your great, free media SYSTEM. It is already too late for the united states of america. You can thank your united states masters in Washington D.C. Thank you for dragging the rest of us into your mess of arrogance and ignorance.
