Nicely done & an eye opener.........I am proud to make the fourth comment....... We are screaming in the wilderness of the current American consciousness....... Economic meltdown?? I am praying for it, that those who are preying will be outed... There is nothing like adverse economic circumstances to concentrate the mind.... Work hard, be thrifty, keep an open mind and watch out for easy solutions..... Get out of dollars & seek the truth of 911........Work for the restoration of the freedom that once existed in the American land......

It's astonishing that the 'best' Republicans can come up with as presidential candidates are religious lunatic who thinks the world is 6000 years old, and a 'war hero' (how is dropping bombs on civilians from 30,000 feet 'heroic'?) who's as unprincipled as he is unglued. Not that the other side is much better. America! What a mess! Maybe Exxon can buy it and fix it up...

It's stories like this that make you really question the intergrity of humanity. It almost seems unreal that people could find money so intoxicating, so worthy of blood - that they will squash anyone in their way simply to get more more more.

Forty billion dollars . . .

$40,000,000,000 - that means Exxon could nearly have single-handedly financed the first year of the Iraq war. Wow.

But, on the same note, I am just as guilty as anyone else. I have purchsed gas at an Exxon/Mobile in the last month. Then again, what choice do I have?! Should I start refining my own oil?

I suppose the only thing that can happen when corporations become the size of Exxon and attain immunity from the law and coronation as kings of the world - wait it out. It is unsustainable, the system they rely on. It will crash down on their self-righteous faces eventually.
