Better concentrate these days on humiliating old men at road-blocks, defaecating on desks as you trash the Palestinian Ministry for Education or bombing from the safety of 30,000 feet. If only Hezbollah had some good anti-aircraft missiles. Years of easy victories and massacres of Palestinians picknicking on beaches, or Lebanese fleeing in packed cars, has taken the edge off Israeli military superiority. It has also brutalised Israeli society, evidence of colonial 'blowback'. The despicable US abandonment of its citizens to Israeli terror in Lebanon was replicated in Canada, another puppet state of Zionist money power and in Australia. Ritual obeisance to Israel and contempt for Arabs is ruthlessly enforced here. The media oligopoly vie with each other in peddling Zionist lies and agit-prop, and traducing Moslems, Arabs and Palestinians in particular. Deviance is, naturally, screechingly denounced as 'anti-Semitism', and the deviants as new Nazis itching to re-open Auschwitz. A sad phenomenon is the periodic announcement of the founding of some group or other of 'liberal' Jews, regretfully critical of Israel's more outlandish atrocities, in other words the position taken by a good segment of Israeli society. Once having announced their existence, they promptly disappear. Public discord (there is no attempt at debate, the other side being 'anti-Semites') is completely dominated by racial supremacist Jews of the Likudnik persuasion (little jaimes to a man), whose world-view is, to put it mildly, somewhat one-dimensional. You know the score-Israel is perfect, weak, threatened, benevolent, inspired, eternally seeking peace, humane, cruelly traduced by eternal anti-Semites. The Palestinians are 'vicious thugs', liars, murderers, brainwashers of their children (who apparently, left to their own devices would adore the killers of their brothers and sisters, mothers, fathers and grandparents as much as their colonial overlords adore themselves). Jews are a couple of per cent of Australia's population, yet recently they have been producing a good quarter or more of opinion comment there.
